Privacy policy

Kindstack is run by Francisco Recalde, based in the UK. For the purposes of UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), Kindstack is the data controller for the personal information described here.

The short version

  • We do not ask for pupil names or any personal information about pupils, and none is stored.
  • We collect as little as possible about you, and only what we need to run the service.
  • We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
  • Our tools are hosted in the UK.

What we collect, and why

  • If you email us: your name, email address and message, so we can reply.
  • If you buy something: payments are handled by our payment provider. We receive your email address and what you bought, never your card details.
  • What you type into a tool (for example a lesson topic) is used only to create your resource.

How long we keep it

Emails are kept for up to two years. Purchase records are kept for six years, as UK tax law requires.

Who we share it with

Only the services that help us run Kindstack, such as our hosting, payment and email providers. Each one handles your data under a contract with us.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you at any time. Email support@kindstack.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We only use cookies that the site needs to work, such as keeping you signed in or remembering what is in your basket. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, so you will not see a cookie banner.

Terms of use

  • Using our tools. You can use Kindstack tools and the resources they make in your own teaching and in your school.
  • Shop resources. Each purchase is a licence for the person who bought it. Please do not share, resell or upload resources to other sites.
  • Your judgement. Our tools help you prepare work. Please check any resource is right for your pupils before you use it.
  • Availability. We work to keep the tools running, but we cannot promise they will never be unavailable.
  • Changes. We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
  • Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

Refunds and returns

Kindstack sells digital products, so there is nothing to post back. Here is how refunds work.

  • Downloads. When you buy a resource you agree that the download starts straight away. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, this means the usual 14 day right to cancel no longer applies once you have downloaded it.
  • If something is wrong. If a resource is faulty, does not open, or is not as described, email us within 30 days and we will fix it, replace it or refund you in full.
  • Subscriptions. You can cancel at any time. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and you will not be charged again.
  • How to ask. Email support@kindstack.uk with your order details. Refunds go back to the card you paid with within 5 to 10 working days.

None of this affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use Kindstack. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2) at level AA: readable text sizes, strong colour contrast, full keyboard access and clear labels.

If something does not work for you, email support@kindstack.uk and we will fix it or find another way to help.
